What I liked
I loved the raw honesty between the two women. The simple staging allowed their emotions and stories to shine without distraction. The use of the gayageum was incredibly beautiful, it brought a sacred, almost prayer-like atmosphere that added emotional depth to each scene. The writing was subtle yet piercing, and the performances felt deeply authentic.
What I didn't like
Honestly, nothing stood out to me as needing improvement. The performance felt complete and deeply moving just as it was. I was fully immersed and grateful for the experience.
My overall impression
To Be Liberated quietly but powerfully moved my heart. It wasn’t loud or dramatic, but every word and silence carried weight. It made me reflect deeply on what true freedom means, not just politically, but spiritually. I walked away reminded of the Gospel… that real liberation comes through grace, forgiveness, and healing.
