What I liked
I loved the playful nature of the show! I felt as if I were watching a musical theater person alone in their bedroom with their imagination. She was funny and engaging. She was very much in the moment and improvisational. The costumes were great, loved the lighting. She has a killer voice! I have not laughed this hard in quite a while. I loved the props which included a stool made from Alan Cummings stool. She had an umbilical cord attached to her mic. Her scene partners which included a prostate were just as hilarious and almost broke character due to Maureen’s hijinks, and who could blame them, she hilarious! I’d love to see this again!
Her parody songs were out of pocket in the best way possible. I will never hear Music of the night the same way again!

My overall impression
Maureen SanDiego is a clown of the highest order! Hilarious! Playful and full of joy! Shows like this make me feel safe in the world! I need to see more shows inside of Alan Cumming!
