Dragonfish

What I liked

The projections and Soleil’s chosen imagery though various forms of dance, fabrics, colors, props and her families dialog were absolute perfection. Captivating and intimate. Soleil created a theatre masterpiece with Dragonfish.

My overall impression

Brave, magical, stunningly disturbing and absolutely beautiful, Soleil Kohl had me in total awe of her incredible work in Dragonfish. Dragonfish takes you on an emotional aquatic roller-coaster, where one minute you think you know where the show is going, and then BAM, you’re in a whole nother bracket of feelings. Soleil is a creative genius, and her bravery of baring her soul shown facets to her storytelling of her father that were mesmerizing and heartbreakingly compelling. One of the most memorable shows I’ve ever seen at Fringe.
