Brave, magical, stunningly disturbing and absolutely beautiful, Soleil Kohl had me in total awe of her incredible work in Dragonfish. Dragonfish takes you on an emotional aquatic roller-coaster, where one minute you think you know where the show is going, and then BAM, you're in a whole nother bracket of feelings. Soleil is a creative genius, and her bravery of baring her soul shown facets to her storytelling of her father that were mesmerizing and heartbreakingly compelling. One of the most memorable shows I've ever seen at Fringe.... full review

This show was absolutely beautiful. I'm still processing it. I wish I could sit with it for longer and really breathe it all in. It is this incredible, tangible poetry and exploration of grief, trauma, rage performed with such precision. The fearless honesty Soleil Kohl displays is astounding. Her ability to transform the theatre into another world and effortlessly bring the audience into it is an incredible gift.... full review

Get into family relationship with a clown who wants our love, who gives us reasons not to love, then brings us to love again... or not. Stunning stagecraft and media that no other show in Fringe I've seen does nearly so well. Also, beautiful visually and amazing sound design. One of the best, most inspiring, most complete shows this Fringe, no doubt. High Emotional Smarts from a very magnetic and vulnerable performer. ... full review

An incredibly haunting show-- in the best way possible. Soleil gives an overly honest look at the complexities in human relationships. Forces the audience to ponder painful questions. What does imperfect love look like? What is forgiving someone and and what is understanding someone? I'm in absolute awe of the show she created. At times the audience was having the most fun possible and the next we were all writhing in our seats, avoiding eye-contact. Be ready and willing to go through a very personal journey if you come to see this show. ... full review
