The cast really sells this show, particularly Dina Cataldi and Mason Conrad as Claire and Bender respectively. Nobody is trying to impersonate their counterparts, but instead are bringing a refreshed energy to the stage. Phil Gould’s clever, tight script weaves through the classic moments with ease and hilarious moments.
What I didn't like
Some of the transitions could get a little wonky but that’s Fringe baby.
My overall impression
A loving tribute to the movie that inspired it, “The Club of Broken Fasts” features an impeccable cast making these well-known characters their own and having a fun time doing it. Clever staging and a banger Bardcore soundtrack and you’ve got yourself a joyful show.
