A well choreographed and composed musical. It’s a dark story without any breaks of levity. Shelley Cooper pushes you to places of discomfort in the most delicious of ways. Even with the darkness and the trauma of the story you cannot leave without feeling hopeful. I loved the lighting and the projections. The mise en scene is perfect in every way. I cannot wait to see the next thing that Cooper does.

My overall impression
A tragic story beautifully told through monologue dance, song and projections.
