What I liked
Everything about Giraffes Can Kill I loved. The personal videos, texts, and memorable items throughout Giraffes Can Kill were the highlight – each item and memento were so personal, and as the piece continued, through Lisa’s exceptional ability to combine the hard moments with her hilarious comedy, made the audience become more connected to Lisa and her story. Exceptional.

One word to describe Giraffes Can Kill: WOW. Lisa Gopman delivers a sincere and profound tribute to her late father in a honest and touching display filled with heart, grief, and honor in this soul bearing piece. I laughed my butt off, I cried my eyes out, and I left the theatre wanting gefilte fish, which rarely ever happens. A remarkable eulogy.
