The intimacy and gentle grace of Marlene’s wisdom in the face of conflict touched me deeply.
On a side note, it was a thrill before the show that the producer announcements incorporated a moment celebrating Fringe performers by inviting them to give them a one sentence pitch of their own Fringe play.
What I didn't like
I appreciate that the playwright wrote this from a place of need. Her need to tell this story matches our need to hear it. If she keeps working on this I would like to see future versions.
My overall impression
Great premise. Two strangers find themselves trying to find common ground in a vulnerable conversation where the present reflects the past.
