An all out there and absolutely insane comedy with an edge of spook, Todd Macabre is truly one of the most outrageous shows I've seen all Fringe. And, I wholly loved every single second of it. Ian Bratschie is captivating from start to finish, with unwavering commitment to character and a keen sense of absurd hilarity that invites the audience into his world with the greatest of ease. Cassie Ahiers direction is spot-on, and this magic team should create more work in the future! I laughed for the entire hour non-stop. I highly recommend this show this Fringe!...

I cannot say enough good things about this show. It's nothing like Beetlejuice but gave me Beetlejuice vibes. Odd, quirky, funny, weird. I felt like a kid watching this show. From start to finish it spoke to the weird little kid inside me. Ian's inclusion of the audience is incredibly well done. He tells a fun story with a surprisingly heartfelt ending and gives a masterclass in clowning. This is my favorite show of the season. ...

Ian is truly a master of absurd clowning AND an excellent theatrical actor! We were all dying laughing throughout the whole show! It was so stupid & heartfelt. It's one of those show's you go home and keep reflecting on for days. Also, this isn't a solo show.. there are many characters.. Spoiler: the fog machine is one of them..!!!!
GO SEE IT & HEAL WITH COMEDY!

Hands down the best comedy performance I’ve seen in years. Todd Macabre is a master of character work. It's hilarious, strange, and somehow deeply moving. I know it’s cliché, but I laughed and I cried. The concept is so clever, and the execution, might not be flawless, but maybe that's the point. I can’t wait to see it again. This show is something special and I think it will only get better. ...

Incredibly funny, dark and moody, and with just enough (water-based) fog, Todd Macabre pulls you in with its gothic tale of potions, spooky woods, and Jekyl and Hyde-type alter egos. Then, it absolutely rips out your heart when the story, and the storyteller’s truth, snap into focus. Poignant but dumb. Heartfelt but silly. And the flattest ass you’ve ever seen. Between Ian’s performance and Cassie’s unique directing style, Todd Macabre proved to all of us that this character, and story, has a bright (and foggy) future. ...
