What I liked

Effie is a beacon as Emerald, like, seriously, why hasn’t SHE made it? Her portrayal of a slightly deluded Hollywood striver goes from over-the-top hilarity and seasoned physical comedy to the devastating reality of a mental breakdown and she has. the. range. Visuals of Saint Meryl Streep and a montage of years of self-tapes perfectly backdropped the agony of Emerald’s lack of ascent to stardom. The writing and the talent and the relatability of this show are off the charts and it’s a must-see this Fringe.

What I didn't like

Actorholics Anonymous to a web series, Netflix, Broadway, NOW!

My overall impression

Actorholics Anonymous is a laugh-out-loud, marvelous, and prescient portrait of an aspiring actor with a tiny validation addiction. Fringe comedy at its finest.
