The brisk, brilliantly paced direction that elegantly handles the chaos of five performers without a single extraneous moment. I love a well paced show and “Except Myself” delivers.
What I didn't like
Drew is an excellent, provocative writer but I’d never seen him perform. He should consider doing that more because he is great!
My overall impression
A thrilling high-wire act that deftly merges five taut, high-energy performances into a single “solo” show entity that delights and provokes. At turns funny and touching and wildly unpredictable. A big highlight for me at this year’s Fringe
