Drew Petriello's brain is a wild place and I love it. "Except Myself" is clever, funny, dark at times, and plays at being both deep and shallow. Highly recommend....

Drew has once again written a play full of humor and vulnerability. I won’t give anything away, but the device he uses to explore identity in today’s chaotic and scary world is incredibly effective. I related to many of the characters, and I walked out feeling hopeful!...

The concept of the personification of our inner facets and emotions is nothing new (both Herman's Head and Inside Out mined this topic), however, Petriello's script is a fresh decidedly fresh and theatrical take. I love the very relatable concept of competing solo shows battling it out within one's head! Combine that with nimble direction by Karsh, and a delightfully charming cast, and you come out with a sweet, hilarious, and ultimately empowering Fringe show!...

I loved the show. It was so clever and hilarious, I'm planning to see it again.
The cast was perfectly balanced and intermingled so well with each other.
Yay for Except Myself....
