Jacob Sidney has so much love for this material, and it shows. He effortlessly goes from dramatic to comedic to everything in between to really make you care about this story. Some of the best projection work I’ve seen at Fringe as well.
What I didn't like
I can’t think of anything.
My overall impression
Why couldn’t history classes have been more like this? “No Better Man” tells a far more comprehensive (and honest) history lesson than most textbooks teach, anchored by the gently compelling presence of Jacob Sidney. Gliding through events with the aid of top-notch projections and sound design, “No Better Man” engages you, challenges you, and ultimately teaches you.
