As a fellow white, straight, cis, Gen X, progressive-minded male with Polish heritage, I was particularly dialed into Dale’s material. But he reveals some things about himself that are truly unique and took me to places where I had never tread. A genuinely fun and insightful performance that is accessible, I think, to just about anybody.
What I didn't like

My overall impression
An absolute gem in a format that I’ve rarely (never?) seen in my years at Hollywood Fringe: An actual stand up comedy show! And while Dale is a clearly gifted stand-up with polished jokes and deep dives into hot button issues, it doesn’t feel quite like any stand-up I’ve ever seen. It was more personal, more vulnerable, more honest than most comedy. I laughed nearly the entire time, but it was drowned out by the laughter from the entire crowd. It was a pretty raucous hour and funnier than anything else you’ll see this at this year’s Fringe.
