Fresh, imaginative material, mounted with superb simplicity, well-performed by all, including the extras! An EXTRA Gold Star to whoever decided to provide PRINTEDPROGRAMS (10-1/2″ × 6-3/4", one-fold) so that we could be properly introduced to the two-femme cast and the admirable writer-director, Aaron Francis!
What I didn't like
3/4-hour = fine, but could be expanded (slightly) or contracted (slightly) to accommodate script revisions!
My overall impression
Here’s the PERFECT example of what Fringe does BEST: (1) new and imaginative idea, (2) talented actresses (+6 non-speaking extras, all uniformly cow-clad) and (3) super-simple production—-eight individuals in a line in front of a sheet!. This could be done anywhere, by anyone, and be equally effective! Jennifer DeRosa steals the show as Betsy, thanks to the generosity of Jules Bruff, who turns out to be the last actor standing! And Bruno Oliver makes his one line (one word!) count!
3/4-hour length = tailored to ideal Fringe Fest parameters!
