The music was incredible and emotionally gripping, even the songs that were played more for laughs or levity. The reprises were used, not to reassert certain feelings/ideas, but to show how a character’s arc had progressed, which I think is undervalued and beautiful.
The story was straightforward, and it was easy enough to see where it was going, but that predictability did nothing to detract from how gripping the narrative really was and how relatable the feelings were.
From a production standpoint, it was impressive to see how the show’s team handled setting up extra seats and handling the large crowd before the show began.

What is there to say that hasn’t been said already? This show feels like the pinnacle of what Hollywood Fringe has to offer. An incredibly professional production and performance team with a clear vision, obvious talent, and flawless execution.
