What I liked
I absolutely loved the writing and the songs. My favorite song was Deep Sea Diver so getting a reprise of it at the end was a thrill. I cannot stop thinking about my girl Carol and my guys Teddy and Neil. Teddy and Neil’s characters were played by the most perfect actors. They made me laugh so much!! I loved the story and the ups and downs the characters faced throughout only to come out triumphant in the end.

The only thing we need more of is this show!!!
My overall impression
I absolutely loved One Up: The Musical! And you could tell everyone in the audience did too as there were constant laughs throughout the show. A musical about women working in the video game industry in the 80’s wasn’t something I knew I needed in my life… but boy was it! Everyone needs to see this musical. From the fun costumes to the subtle jokes to the incredible performances, I can’t stop thinking about this show!
