What I liked
The casting choices of visually creating the families was something that really brought a smile to my inner artist. Alexandra Tamplin as the one cast of the Nurse really impressed me – she has very impressive emotional range!
What I didn't like
I personally wished that there were more lines from Tybalt as I like him as a character, but this is just personally opinion and didn’t affect the overall story – the cut is still very strong and not everything can able to stay haha!
My overall impression
Trying to slim down this show into 60 minutes seemed like a big feat to me, but I think Colleen provided a cut of this show that really works in an expedited telling of a beloved classic. Colleen also makes great use of the theater space, utilizing the stairs in blocking that I really enjoyed.
