My overall impression

This is more than a show… Though traditionally staged, it’s still a deeply immersive, beautiful, ethereal, comforting, and encouraging experience through word, song, and filmed projections of gorgeous, and often misty, near-the-tree-line, natural settings. The mist, the streams, the clouds one can almost touch are woven themes through Tara’s presentation as they offer the challenge between having one’s light blocked, or seeing sun streaks which break through, told through her parable-like mythos, often meeting wise, softly challenging strangers along the way or at a “crossroads.” Tara Kia’s presence itself says, “Be calm, be free, let go.. peace is within reach, or if hurting, “Someone will love you better.” She embodies a magnificent, smiling calm above an incredible singing and piano playing talent, a talent that almost sneaks by you as it buoys the more paramount spiritual journey. But don’t let it—the music is incredible. She is backed up by two musicians on guitar and bass who offer pitch perfect sensibilities to her work. This is a big Bravo. I didn’t want the show to end.
