Bedridden is a witty and hilarious journey through a very serious depressive episode of Laura who is afraid to leave her safety net. Who is the main character you may ask? Tough to say…is it Laura? the bed? Is it Jarred? Or one of the many visitors who aim to lift Laura’s spirits? Trick question, it’s all of the above. Accompanied by the sharp-witted writing and the impressive set design, the actors bring this shocker to life with impeccable timing and comedic relief. The shocking finish will leave you cackling and wanting more. Cannot recommend enough!... full review

Very creative and entertaining show. The acting was very good across the board. The main character, who was at the center of the stage for the entire show, gave an exceptionally strong performance; she really embodied the character with her voice, her facial expressions, and her body movements. The other main character was also excellent, and there was strong chemistry between them. The story had an interesting plot twist at the end, too. Highly recommended!! ... full review

This was a really great show! A real short play, not a long sketch. A depressive episode has rarely been this entertaining. Appropriate length for the concept, which never wore out it's welcome. The production design was EXCELLENT and elevated the black box setting way beyond what audiences are used to. The direction was sharp, the pace was perfect and the actors' characterizations and timing were right on. Michaela takes on a huge challenge as the lead and knocks it out of the park. Genuinely funny throughout with a great ending.... full review

Bedridden takes you on a hilarious ride that had me laughing from start to finish. The writing is whip-smart, sharp, and punchy, matched by the delivery of the actors who brought it to life. The show leverages absurd, zany situations to convey contemporary and a deeply relatable journey of the main character Laura. Absolutely loved it and can’t recommend it enough! ... full review

Loved it, such a creative premise! So much symbolism. Now that I’ve seen it through once, I would love to watch it at least a second time so I can pick up more of the writer’s nuance. Can’t believe what a relatable yet surreal story was told on stage. Casting was excellent. Actors were excellent. Truly was on the edge of my seat the entire time! Director and producer should be very proud with their performances too. ... full review
