A funny and moving peek into the world of a Dresser on Broadway. A testament to the fact that a performer's inner world is best communicated through art, regardless of whether they're onstage or backstage.... full review

Oh, I loved this show! Not only is it thoroughly polished, relevant to so many artists who have struggled, and deeply personal, it combined a slew of Kim’s talents in one show. She’s a dancer, singer, very clever writer, and effortlessly funny. I loved her mission impossible sequences & backstage storytelling- her characters all came to life! It’s no wonder this is an award-winning solo show, please do yourself a favor and go see it!... full review

A delightful, heartbreaking and empowering show about one artist's journey from the dance stage to Broadway's backstage. Kim is effortless in her delivery of the story with multiple characters, props, impactful moments and exceptional physical comedy. It's such a relatable show for anyone who has felt invisible and detoured in in pursuit of their dreams - Kim shows us it's possible to find a fulfilling pathway back!... full review

One of the best solo shows I have seen! Kim was charming, funny and engaging. The show was well written, well paces, well-acted/performed, real and honest. But also, the show still hit emotional depth, and I felt the grief the grief Kim went through. I really connected with the show as an actor who also does tech/crew/behind the scenes work to survive...I 100% related to Kim. For so long Kim felt unseen and through this show, not only is she telling her tale, speaking her truth (thus reclaiming her shine) but she was able to create a show that anyone who has lived that double life as an actor/performer and technician (or even if they are a technician and non-performer) were seen. I felt seen by the end from watching Unseen, that's some p... full review

So, so, so good. Ms. Prentice was phenomenal. Truly a “never once looked at my watch” kind of thing, so when the hour-long show ended I was surprised because I thought we still had at least 30 minutes left!!... full review

What a performance! Kimberly took us on an emotional journey through the struggles artists have to endure for their art. From injuries to bad bosses and crazy co-workers. I loved how her journey unfolds. I wish it was longer, so I could hear more about the crazy actors she had to deal with!!! ... full review

UNSEEN is personal storytelling at its best. The autobiographical aspirations of being a dancer on Broadway, what it takes to sustain a life in the arts while pursuing your dreams, and the jobs one takes to make ends meet are what this imaginative show lets us in on. The unseen becomes the seen. What a privilege to be present to such meaningful sharing of one's life!... full review

What a captivating and heartfelt evening of storytelling! Four of our theatre dressers had the privilege of being with Kim every step of the journey, making the experience even more special. Her stories were filled with humor, insight, and moments that tugged at the heartstrings. We laughed, learned, reflected, and were reminded of the power of sharing our personal journeys. Cheers to Kim for her courage, authenticity, and willingness to spread her wings while inspiring others to do the same! ... full review
