What I liked
So many songs packed into less than an hour! I loved how they all flowed into one another, and I really love Boquist’s style and voice. Great cast, especially Phoebe the cat and Boquist himself.
What I didn't like
I think the show could be fleshed out by another 15 minutes or so in the next iteration!
My overall impression
Short and sweet little musical about millennial dread and all the anxiety that comes with it! Although Boquist has a distinctive musical voice (both on the page and in his literal vocal stylings), this show reminded me many times of the works of Jonathan Larson. The tortured artist “what will I do with my life” musical is nothing new, but Boquist imbues his show with a particularly modern and whimsical take on the subject. An overall lovely show!
