What I liked
The story was original. Narratively and thematically tight, no wandering. The dialogue all worked. The music was great. Varied music styles each performed well. The artistic choices around video, nudity, and intrusive thoughts all elevated the show by being delightful in such diverse ways.
What I didn't like
There were no parts that failed in my eyes.
I think it may have added something if the dosing instructions were in the voicemail and Ben accidentally ate way too much.
I think it may have added something for Ben to tell Sven that authentically living as a single gay impoverished art teacher takes a courage that Sven never demonstrated in his life of conquest.
I think it may have added something for the cat to have been a bit more Lovecraftian, with more knowledge of the afterlife or power over Sven.
My overall impression
The show was delightful and well-crafted. We are taken through a journey to consider life, death, success, failure, duty, escape, and what it would mean to release ourselves to seek our path.
