The musical numbers set the tone, keep things moving, and show range, humor, and depth. Ben is endearing, compelling, and pitch-perfect – I loved going on this journey with him! The roommate, cat, and viking ghost each bring their own special power, flair, heart, and surprising turns. The pianist was also fabulous. Bravo!
What I didn't like
A real piano would be awesome!
My overall impression
Ben’s Viking Trip took me somewhere wholly unexpected, and I loved it. It is delightfully funny, sweetly insightful, painfully relatable, surprisingly fresh and deeply moving. I was charmed, tickled, and heart-rent.
