This show is beautifully timed, relentlessly rehearsed, and masterful in the joy of the puppeteers and performers alike. I’ve never seen an audience so enthralled and utterly delighted by a piece that’s completely non-verbal! And not enough can be said about Shannon’s puppet creations. They’re almost all biologically accurate, and each thoughtfully given a Chinook name. This might have been the best 30 minutes of my day today.
What I didn't like
More. I want more. Like 45 minutes of this… or 60. It’s just joyful, and such a brilliant way to highlight the joy of the wild in a time when environmental protection need to be such a key issue.
My overall impression
This show is a cozy, technically brilliant joy, with gorgeous puppetry and scene work. It’s a balm for your day, no matter how good or bad it’s been. Just a lovely and impressive display of skill!
