This was truly a circus of chaos. I went to a pretty rowdy showing and Jason handled the crowd with aplomb, playing with us when necessary and taking control back with sheer presence and play. He was locked in and on it and the crowd was along for the ride in a big way....

Let’s go, Jason! Such a fun, rowdy show from even before the time it actually started. Jason commands the room, does killer monologue-ing and it’s f u n. Set direction and props and gags exactly how you’d want them. ...

I didn’t know I could feel so tenderly for a rubber and synthetic ape - but the man inside it showed us his yearning for self realization. ...

Jason DeGraff is an incredible, fully committed performer. He takes a very simple idea and plays with it. A lot of successful set-ups and pay-offs -- this is peak clown! I'm telling everyone about this show. You have to go see this!...

Jason and Jason (gorilla and man) had me rolling with laughter. Truly, his eye contact, physicality, splendiferous storytelling & subversions are top notch. I’m still giggling about certain details - “these people are in the middle…of one of the most traumatic nights of their lives” - can’t stop laughing over it. ...

I love the honest and raw emotion of Jason's performance. He takes something silly but dials the emotional connection up to 11 and you can't help but laugh with and root for him. ...

If you have kinder trauma regarding the gorilla from SpongeBob, this is the show for you.
If you wish the gorilla did a burlesque act, this is the show for you.
If you are the type to enjoy the sweet leaf before a show, this is the show for you.
If you wish Paul McCartney had a little tiny version of his Sgt. Pepper uniform that he carried around everywhere, this is the show for you.
If you want to have a great time for 45 minutes, this is the show for you.
Highly recommend a front row seat for some quality gorilla action....

This is the story of a father and son. The father runs a circus. The son is a 2,000 gorilla. Both are played by Jason. Laughter from beginning to end. Jason gives a full-throated, 900% energetic performance as both the Circus Guy Father and the Gorilla Son. This show is for people who like to be close to wildness. He gets close. He has a need for the audience and you won't be able to look away. He captivates you to stay super super present with him and commits to a kind of stupidity that is delightful. It's really awesome to feel connected to a performer in the way you're invited to in this one. ...
