Jason—the performer, not the gorilla—really gives 100% throughout. He’s so committed to both of his characters, and to their relationship with the audience. There are a lot of fun games and some truly absurd comedic moments. And the relationship between Jason the Gorilla and his trainer is so genuine, in spite of one of them occasionally being represented by a puppet.
What I didn't like
There was a slight tech issue that impacted the ending at the preview I saw, but I imagine that’s already been fixed.
My overall impression
a super fun, playful adventure with Jason the juggling gorilla and his desperate trainer trying to rein him in.
