Entrancing, hilarious, bizarre, and heartfelt, “52 Pick-Up” manages to say so much by saying so little. Ann Noble and Jeffrey Johnson are magical in how they take over the space and grab your attention from start to finish. Truly one of the gems of this Fringe....

This wonderful play reminded me why I love live theatre. It is touching and beautiful. Well crafted and acted. Tiny moments of perfection. Only clowns can break your heart and then make you laugh about it. As you can tell, I really liked it LOL...

What an expressive, funny, heartwarming performance! Jeffrey and Ann are so specific in their performances and differing communication styles. Their work, combined with Michael Perlmutter's defined direction, made this movement-based story perfectly clear - not an easy feat. Well done!...

I may have been spoiled by tonight, because this was my first clown show. Any future clown shows will have to roller skate up hill to compete with what I just experienced.
What a fun, intriguing and touching communication. It’s amazing how clear both performers were without saying a word. Who cries at a clown show?! … this guy, I suppose :)
Beautiful work! 🤡 🎸 👑 🫅 ...
