My overall impression
I don’t want to give away the surprises of this show, but I can say that what Noble and Johnson are able to do with their eyes, faces, and bodies is to provide a full catharsis for the audience. Even if these beautifully sad clowns’ particular pain is not yours, by simply allowing yourself to travel with them, you too can visit and let go of real pain, all from the safe proximity of your seat. Somehow those blue and red noses, along with well timed music, create a space for real healing.
