What I liked
I love that each person had a very unique character and carried that through the whole show, even while singing their various parts. The group harmonized so well on each tune, and the arrangements Spencer chose were just a blast to jam along with.

My overall impression
This is one of the funnest shows I’ve seen this year. With a great collection of shanties to guide us through a simple narrative, Spencer and his troupe give the audience some of the best harmonies. It’s such a joy to hear this cast sing with almost no instruments and really connect with the audience and each other. Spencer is truly a standout as the captain of the ship, leading his crew through various incidents and songs. There are plenty of laughs and moments that just make you smile.
