What I liked
Hal’s impression of his father, obviously. And the expert storytelling. I was on board for every volcanic bump in the road for Hal and his family. I liked that Hal landed the show with love. Also, Hal’s charm!

My overall impression
The first word that popped in my head after: riveting. My jaw was on the floor for the entire show. Hal channels his father in an astonishing way. I could have listened to two more hours of these stories. And ultimately, it’s a beautiful, cathartic and compassionate story of a veryyyyy complicated father.
