What I liked
Any time Hal is on the stage or the screen, you can’t take your eyes off of him. His stories are genuine and outrageous and will have you hooked.
What I didn't like
The anecdotes in Jersey Devil were so interesting that I found myself wanting to see them played out with a full cast! It was so good it left me wanting more!
My overall impression
Hal Rudnick is an incredible performer and a consummate entertainer. Watching him is always a delight. This show where tells deeply personal stories that are equal parts incredibly sad, traumatizing, and absurd is revelatory and disarming. But Hal tells the tale with such joy and gusto that you can’t help but laugh along with him as he shares this part of himself.
