Everything on the production side shines. The cast is stellar and throw their all into every moment, especially lead Lia Peros. The oft-catchy pop score is produced to the nines, and the snappy choreography delivers both energy and another layer of humor.
What I didn't like
Should this musical go through future iterations I would encourage careful thought about whose story this is, and the narrative function of songs. I’d also suggest making a choice about tone, as right now the mood vacillates between empathy and bleak satire.
My overall impression
A high-energy, tightly-produced musical that endeavors to celebrate the creative spirit amidst turmoil.
