My overall impression

“The Real Housekeepers of Beverly Hills” is a hoot. My wife and I saw the 11:30 performance last Friday and we really enjoyed it. The songs are fun, acting was great, characters were instantly recognizable and hilarious. Special kudos to Gabby Sinalitro’s “Consuela” who had me in tears with her unshakable deadpan.

There is nothing heavy in this show. It is pure fun and fluff and a great respite from many of the more serious shows here at Fringe. Don’t get me wrong- I love serious theatre- but sometimes you need to just let go and this was the perfect show for that.

I highly recommend getting reacquainted with the help from tv-land and see “The Real Housekeepers of Studio City.”
