The cast is talented and committed. The music is fine if not particularly noteworthy. The plot is a good enough structure upon which to hang TV references and parodies. This really was a case of "not my thing." Having not watched that much TV, I didn't get / care about the cleverness of the references and didn't find the story strong enough to engage me throughout. If you dig Nick at Nite and classic sitcoms, you'll probably enjoy this much more than I did. On a purely technical level, there also were moments that the recorded tracks overwhelmed the actors' singing. I'm guessing that this will be ironed out since I saw the show in preview.... full review

This show is a wonderful experience. The music, lyrics and story are very smart, funny and toe-tapping. Each of the actors did a fine job re-creating what we know about these icons of TV. If I were to criticize anything about this show, though, it would be this. I thought that the children were under-used, obnoxious and I felt they were more like props than characters. There was one song, "Don't you dare" which felt to me as a bit of a "jumping the shark" moment. I felt it slowed down the momentum. Similarly, the "Crazy Bird" number seemed to go on a bit too long and I felt "Consuela" was underused. In praise I couldn't help but included the characterization of "Mrs. Garrett." I wanted MORE. The song, words and performance were side-... full review

There's a lot here to love for those of who grew up watching shows in perpetual syndication. The references come fast and thick, from the 60's to the present day, so there's something for everyone. It's astounding that they've been able to assemble a cast so perfectly suited to these iconic characters who can act and sing and sell it all so well. The family that is the core of the story is also wonderfully written and portrayed. Well worth checking out!... full review

This is a clever concept. The costuming and "star turns" from the TV maids were all consistently funny, some of them side-splitting. Gabby Sanalitro was wonderful as Rosie the Robot and the quiet hispanic maid. The songs have a nice hook and the cast delivered them with gusto. Great for a late night laugh. ... full review

Wooohooo! So many laugh out loud moments. So many characters to love. This play was well worth the hour. Even though I didn't necessarily know all the references, the characters stood on their own. ... full review

The show was a real treat! The actors were cast perfectly, and I especially liked Leigh Ann Smith and Daniel Switzer, both whom were genuine, quirky, and drew the eye. The sound of the show was in my opinion superb, from the actors, the music, and the voice over. You should RSVP for this show because if you don't, you'll be left to listen from the outside.... full review
