What I liked
Through rich, nuanced characterizations of both his classmates and family members, Yousaf brought to life the experience of growing up Pakistani-American in a post-9/11 world. His storytelling was heartfelt, hilarious, and incredibly detailed—each moment felt honest and deeply human. It was a moving, masterfully performed piece that stayed with me long after it ended.

Yousaf Sajid’s performance in Natural Born Citizen was absolutely captivating. I was hooked from the first moment, completely immersed in the world of his 9th grade school election.
