"Natural Born Citizen" is a show that sticks with you. A true testament to the power of minimalist storytelling shows, Yousaf takes you on an hourlong journey through his upbringing with no props, no costumes, and a set consisting of only two blocks (because that's all he needs). Punctuated with 2000's pop-punk jams, the show is hilarious, profound, nostalgic, and completely compelling from beginning to end. Yousaf's show is incredible on so many levels. It is funny, moving and had me on the edge of my seat waiting for a middle school elections result. Yousaf played multiple roles convincingly and made you care about all of the characters.
