My overall impression
I am absolutely in love with Ms. Edwards!! All of them! Sidney is such a dynamic, hilarious actor with the energy of a whole ensemble! I laughed every minute and was truly touched by the heartfelt advise given. There’s plenty of funny shows in LA, but to see one where the performer makes you cackle and shows their genuine and beautiful soul is very, very special. Sidney is an incredible actor and a beautiful human being.
And Byron!!! This is the magic team. These two are a powerhouse writing team. A charming and effective premise, characters that we all know and love, one liner after one liner after one liner, and an ending that made me feel loved and cared for. Can I join the Edwards family??? Because these people are amazing!
Byron has done a brilliant job directing this piece. The flow was perfect, the quirks were plentiful, and the heart was always on full display. It’s no surprise at all because Byron is not just incredibly talented but also just such a warm and generous person. I’m so happy these two fabulous people have found each other.
