What I liked
it allowed me to reflect on the matriarchs in my family who I loved so dearly and how even just their presence shaped the woman I am today. Sadly most of them have passed, but what I would give to be able to honor them they Sidney has done for her matriarchs with this show. It’s such a testament that Sidney was able to take their stories and essence and honor them with her creativity and storytelling.

My overall impression
Ok lemme just say that I think Ms Grace Edwards was my favorite. But that aside, man did this have me in my feels by the end. Sidney did such a great job embodying all the different Edwards women and I could see each and everyone of them without having actually seen them. And it allowed me to reflect on the matriarchs in my family who I loved so dearly shaped the woman I am today. It’s such a testament that Sidney was able to take their stories and essence and honor them with her creativity and storytelling. What could be more telling of a life well-lived.
