This wonderful one-woman show, is a beautiful love letter to a unique family dynamic and to the educators that shape our childhood. Sidney Edwards is a versatile, triple threat, powerhouse creative! She shines on stage and keeps the audience engaged, sharing her family’s story. Byron Coolie’s direction - use of space, technology, lighting cues, and audio cues brought the audience effortlessness into this world/school! The show kept my 5 year old daughter engaged! We laughed, teared up, and danced in our seats! ... full review

Just an absolutely beautiful show with a ton of heart and character(s). Sidney is dynamic, funny, warm, charismatic, and incredibly engaging as every single Ms. Edwards. It was a beautiful love letter to the women in her life who taught her everything. I fell in love with each character, who not only taught Sydney valuable lessons, but gave the audience lots to think about for themselves. It was heartfelt, honest, and it made me tear up at the end. Truly an amazing show!... full review

To call Ms. Edwards hilarious would both be an understatement and do it a disservice. In the space it leaves you crying from tears, it leaves you crying for real - but it is not a comedy, nor a tragedy. It does not tell jokes, and does not wallow. It is only funny and sad in the way real life often is, and it is hard to argue that Ms. Edwards is one of the most real possible pieces of theater out there. Sidney Edwards portrays a half dozen members of her own, real family with stunning attention to detail. Mannerisms, figures of speech, expressions, gait, stance, accents, simple but effective costumes, and especially emotions. Sidney show you how her family have shaped her not just thematically, psychologically, but physically, with her u... full review
