What I liked
Rejyna Douglass-Whitman told her profound story in moving detail using visual memory and soundtracking the archival photos with gorgeous live rock ballads. This show is politics, history, queer activism, an indictment of the legal system, and family memoir all woven together. Rejyna spoke from the heart and made us feel every step of her painful journey so that we felt every drop of victory as the final custody ruling was read. A triumph!

A rallying cry for trans equality and an emotionally wraught and beautiful testament to a mother’s love and enduring strength to fight for her daughter.
