This show is a masterclass in clown. Cam’s character is a fool desperate for the audience’s love: he is a raw nerve of sensitivity: ecstatic when we love him, devastated when we don’t. It’s all incredibly stupid (the highest compliment in the world of clown), and I never wanted it to end. I didn’t stop laughing and smiling for the entire hour, and I honestly didn’t want it to end. I will attempt to see it again despite a sold out run!
What I didn't like
This wasn’t 3 hours long. What gives?
My overall impression
It’s perfect, ok? Cam is one of the most brilliant clowns you will ever see. This show has a deceptive simplicity to it, but Cam’s attunement to the audience and what’s alive in the room is expert.
