With a charming performance, the show was a wonderful peak into the journey of someone still on the journey of self acceptance. In watching the show, I felt like I was watching someone really stretching themself and that I got to be a part of his journey they are on for a little while. Intimate, vulnerable, and a wonderful message about the fact that it really is the journey.
What I didn't like
Ultimately, I would just love to watch this story and performance continue to be honed. It’s so authentic and charming and has so much room to continue to blossom.
My overall impression
The execution was simple, yet powerful. A stripped down bearing of the soul by a storyteller still figuring out what it means to find peace and leaving the audience with the sense that it’s okay not to know your ending because self-discovery is a humbling and continuous road. I laughed, I cried, I felt closer to what it means to be an imperfect human that genuinely wants to try to be a little better every day.
