There’s a rhythm to Lucas’s storytelling- his timing, phrasing, and ability to pivot from humor to heartbreak is masterful.—Loneliness, unexpected friendship, rediscovery—they’re all baked into the structure.
What I didn't like
If anything, I left the theatre wanting more. This story is rich enough—emotionally, structurally, and thematically—to transcend the solo format. I’d love to see it scaled up into a larger production, perhaps with a full cast!!
