Melina Farahani is a British/Persian actress trained at London’s Sylvia Young Theatre School and currently a student at the Art of Acting Studio Stella Adler in Los Angeles. She is a member of the National Youth Theatre in London. Her latest works have been showcased at the Royal Court Theatre and Pleasance Theatre, London, where she portrayed Celia in Shakespeare’s “As You Like It.” Her upcoming film is an independent production, “The Bitter Tears of Petra von Kant,” Rainer Werner Fassbinder’s 1972 drama, which is being reimagined for the second time in as many years, this time by a team of Iranian filmmakers. Additionally, she is working on an upcoming Netflix cartoon series.
