What I liked

I loved the dialogue between the two actors. Clearly the two care deeply for each other on and off the stage. They were able to capture a single day’s worth of preparation for the holiday without a second of air between the lines. Great writing and great acting from Sahar Yousefi and Edward Mulrayne. I believe this deserves to be seen all over the worl.

What I didn't like

Not much could be. There was a moment in the play where they had to do a lot of setups for the scene. After lights up, I noticed that the setup could easily have been as part of the scene itself. Lights out was slightly too long for me and much of the audience. But outside that, I can’t think of much.

My overall impression

Great time watching “Eggs” written and performed by Sahar Yousefi and Edward Mulryne at the Madnani Theater. It’s an amazing story. A slice of life about the holiday of Noruz. It reminded me of some of the great dialogue written by the likes of Noel Coward.
