What I liked
The comedic timing was great. They placed is purposefully and performed it wonderfully.

My overall impression
Eggs is a heartfelt show about a couple from different cultural backgrounds finding connections on the eve of the Nowruz (Persian New Year). Because one of the big themes of the play is about connections, it is imperative that the performers have a strong connection to each other, which makes it easier for the audience to connect to the show. They did this so wonderfully and seamlessly.
The audience of our show was with them every step of the way. There were audible laughs, gasps, and groans. It was such an enjoyable theatre going experience.
Most importantly, I feel like this play gives representation to two cultures who are too often dramatized by depictions of war and persecution. It’s refreshing to see them just being human beings in a loving relationship (and enjoying some horrabulous movies).
I hope this play gets to reach places far and wide! Congratulations to everyone who is apart of it!!
