My first ensemble show of the season is one of the funnest I've experience. And so much of it is owed to the wonderful dialogue by Eberhardt. It's obvious, and worth it, that she wrote this piece in part with the actors. Everyone on stage feels so comfortable in their characters and they play so well with each other. There are long moments where you can't stop smiling. Every actors is grounded in their characters and you can really feel just how natural the dialogue is for them. Another excellent Unknown Artists show! This one knocks it out of the park with it's well paced and structured script, terrific ensemble and excellent balance of humor, heart and heaviness. This script is beautifully written, satisfying, and surprising. I deeply connected with the discussion of feeling like a burden due to health issues. Hilarious, grounded, and delightful! This was such a fun and touching ride through a delicate topic. I fell in love with these characters immediately and through that joy of experiencing their honesty and was I captivated by this story.
