What I liked
This play is a five-course meal (with oysters as the appetizer), dense and delirious, meticulously raw and thick like molasses, I could not look away. Fish never wastes a word, and he jams the page too. The cast is perfect, a tour de force of human condition pouring out right before us, chaotic yet controlled and expertly blended. It is very special to see four actors of this high caliber put down the gloves and go at it for a dozen rounds, and of course Fisher’s direction perfectly compliments the unfolding of events, which peels back the layers of the onion with masterful precision.

My overall impression
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, we are all beyond lucky to have Michael Shaw Fisher putting pen to paper. It’s been 13 years now since Doomsday and this guy continues to reach deep into his well of, seemingly infinite creativity, creating dynamic pure story, honest and overwhelming, and with Rabbits he’s blown our minds once again.
