Believable actors responding believably to the gloriously preposterous. Well paced, high energy direction.
What I didn't like
Nothing, except Michael is an exceptional actor (in addition to his talents as a writer and director) and I missed seeing him onstage.
My overall impression
Hello, and welcome to our polite little dinner party with fancy soups and copious alcohol and good vibes all around. Wait, good vibes? This is a Michael Shaw Fisher play, so just know the good will quickly spirals into lunacy, derangement, villainy and one of the most gob-smacking ballets of (no spoilers) you will ever see. And yet, so grounded…always so grounded by stunning performances, completely cracked but completely real. Funny, filthy, briskly paced, well directed, well scripted, delirious madness. The best of this year’s Fringe and you’ll be very sad if you miss it.
